A delicious North Indian whole wheat flat bread with stuffed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 3 medium-sized potatoes
- 2 green chillies
- A few coriander leaves
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup wheat flour ( atta )
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes, peel and mash them.
- Chop the green chillies and coriander leaves finely.
- Add these to the mashed potatoes along with salt and ginger paste.
- Mix well and keep aside for the filling.
- Knead the wheat flour with water to a soft dough.
- Make a small ball of the dough. Roll it into a small disc and place a little of the potato filling inside.
- Enclose the filling with the dough disc and flatten it with a rolling pin.
- Heat a tava. Place the paratha on the tava and let it cook on both sides by spreading oil on the paratha.
- Serve aloo paratha hot with butter or yogurt.
