Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 10 – 12 almonds / badam
- 7 – 8 saffron strands
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar / as per taste
Instructions
- Soak the almonds in hot water for around 20 minutes. Peel the skin of the almonds and keep aside.
- Meanwhile soak saffron strands in around 2 tbsp of hot milk for around 1/2 hour.
- Grind the peeled almonds to a smooth paste along with 1/2 cup milk.
- Heat the remaining milk with sugar and cardamom powder. When it is warm, add the almond milk along with saffron soaked milk and mix well.
- Serve kesar badam milk hot or cold.
