Cabbage pulao is a simple one pot rice dish prepared with shredded cabbage. Apart from cabbage gravy, this has become another of my favorite cabbage recipes.
I was always wary of trying pulao using cabbage, since I was of the impression that the flavor of cabbage will be too overpowering in the dish. But to my surprise, the pulao turned out to be good with the cabbage not playing a very dominant role.
From nutrition point of view, cabbage is a healthy vegetable to be included in your diet. Cabbage is a low-calorie and fiber rich vegetable with a high water content.
This cabbage pulao is a mildly spiced dish and can be served with a raita.
