Cauliflower pepper fry recipe – a simple and quick South Indian style cauliflower stir fry. This recipe has cauliflower stir fried with black pepper and spices. It is easy to make in minutes.

I was reserving a small cauliflower that I had bought a few days ago, to prepare my vegan cauliflower soup.

But the other day, when I prepared a simple lunch comprising of rice and rasam, I decided to use up this cauliflower to prepare this dry stir fry as a side dish. The combination was delicious. This gobi pepper fry even goes well with chapathis or rotis.

Though there are only a few ingredients needed to make this recipe, yet it tastes delicious. The fennel seeds give a slightly sweet taste which counters the spice in black pepper. The other spices give a fresh taste to the cauliflower.

The recipe for this poriyal is very easy. Just boil the cauliflower and then stir fry it with the spices. There are no tomatoes added in this recipe or no grinding of spices involved. It is simple and quick but at the same time, delicious. Do try this cauliflower sabzi and I am sure you will love it.
