An easy side dish recipe of capsicums and potatoes.
Ingredients
- 3 capsicums
- 1 big potato
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
- A few coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Dice the onion, capsicums and potato.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- When the mustard crackles, add diced onions and chopped garlic and saute.
- Add the diced capsicums and fry for a few minutes.
- Now add the diced potatoes along with salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder.
- Saute for a few minutes and add enough water to cook the vegetables.
- Cover and cook potatoes turn soft.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis or rice.
