A simple and cooling raita recipe using cucumbers and yogurt.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Kala namak / black salt ( as per taste )
- 1 green chilli
- 1 cup yogurt / curd / dahi
- A few coriander leaves
Instructions
- Chop the cucumber into small pieces.
- Chop the green chilli and coriander leaves.
- Mix the yogurt with required quantity of black salt, depending on taste.
- Alternatively you could use salt instead of black salt.
- Add the chopped cucumber, green chillies and grated ginger.
- Mix well and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Cucumber raita is now ready to be served with biryani, pulao or rotis.
