I wanted a simple wall art for the kitchen. I love the kitchen quotes that are available as stickers or decals. Instead of buying it, I zeroed in on one kitchen saying that I liked and decided to proceed with this diy craft project.
I took a cardboard sheet and cut it to the desired size that I needed for the wall art and stuck a white sheet on top of it. Then, to make a border for this, I cut a wrapping paper a few inches for all the four sides of the sheet and stuck them to the sheet.
I wrote the kitchen quote on one side of the sheet using a pencil and then used black paint on top of it.
Since this quote is about seasoning, I cut a cardstock in the shape of a pepper shaker ( hope it does look like one 🙂 ) and painted it. I added a few dots above the letter ‘d’ in the word ‘ seasoned ‘ to resemble the pepper falling from the shaker.
Two ice cream plastic spoons pasted on the right side of the sheet completed this diy simple, easy and quick wall art.
