An easy banana cake recipe using no eggs and no butter.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 deg C.
- Mix flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl.
- In a large bowl, whisk together oil and sugar till well blended.
- Add mashed bananas, vanilla and milk and stir well.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to a greased 9 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool it on a wire rack before slicing it.
