An Indian style salad of chickpeas and green mangoes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1/4 cup finely chopped raw mango
- 1 tomato, small
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tbsp grated carrot
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1 1/2 tsp chaat masala powder
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- For boiled chickpeas, soak chickpeas in water overnight. The next day, pressure cook the chickpeas till they turn soft and drain the water.
- Peel and chop the raw mango finely. Chop tomato finely.
- De-seed and chop green chilli roughly.
- In a bowl, add lemon juice, salt, pepper powder and chaat masala powder and mix well.
- Toss in boiled chickpeas, raw mango, green chillies, tomato and mix well.
- Garnish with grated carrots and chickpeas mango salad is ready to be serv
