Masoor dal recipe is a simple and easy split red lentils curry. The orange masoor dal, called as split red lentils is one of the easiest dals to prepare. They do not require soaking as they get cooked very fast.

In terms of nutrition, this dal is rich in proteins, iron and folic acid. It is also rich in fiber and low in fat.
