Mooli ki Sabzi | Mooli Bhurji | Radish Stir Fry

by Jiya Jesh · Updated on June 7, 2020 Sabzi (Veg - Dry curries)

Mooli ki Sabzi / mooli ki bhurji recipe – a simple and easy North Indian style radish stir fry. This recipe is a lightly spiced stir fry using both radish as well as radish leaves.

I usually end up making radish greens dal when I am able to get hold of radish tops from the market. I have never tried eating raw radish salads, and instead prefer cooking it. For a change, I tried this simple and healthy radish greens stir fry using the radish too.

I have made this radish sabzi a few times since I tried it first and totally love it for its simplicity and taste. Its almost like a warm cooked radish salad along with the goodness of radish leaves.

The recipe for this mooli ki bhurji is very easy. I have used white radish together with the radish greens here. The sabzi is tangy and delicious and goes well as a side dish for chapatis / rotis and rice.

Radishes are rich in vitamin C and a good source of dietary fiber. They are low in calories and help in weight loss. Apart from this, radish improves digestion. Radish leaves too are very nutritious and contain more vitamin C than radish root iteslf. Lets move on to the recipe for easy mooli ki sabzi.
